Welcome to Thank You Notes!

What is Thank You Notes? I share a few weekly thank you notes and you are invited! You can linkup your Thank You Notes below. I cannot take credit for Thank You Notes, Jimmy Fallon is my inspiration for this linkup.

Thank You, Jimmy!

Jimmy’s Thank You Notes:

I love how Jimmy was thankful for #DeflateGate too.

Thank you, sweetie, for doing wonderfully in school.  I am not sure words can express how damn proud I am of you.  It is such an honor to be your Mama, to see you grow and become such a beautiful soul.  I love you.

Thank you, babies, for being good at the award ceremony and the dentist’s office, you both make me proud.  It was nice to receive compliments from multiple people on your good behavior.  I had such a special Friday with the two of you.  I’m loving our lunch dates.

Thank you, muscle man, for vacuuming your own room and then surprising us with bringing the vacuum down stairs BY YOURSELF. I had to capture this moment….

Thank You Notes| Thank you little muscle man for this moment.

Thank you, Multitasking Momma, for sharing my linkups on your New This Week  post. I totally appreciate the support!

I have a special thank you note this week. It’s a twofer, a thank you note annnnd a swap reveal. Thank you, Mia, for all my goodies!

#ChaseYourDreams2015 Swap Reveal

I’m not sure if you remember, but I created a list of words I wanted to focus on this year, and thankfully Mia helped me with that.  Encouraging was one of my words, so when I found this “encouraging” swap I had to sign up!  Mia, has been such a sweet swap partner, we have been connecting via email, Twitter, Instagram, and our blogs. 🙂

Mia seriously nailed it with this box!! However, if you know me, you know I’m a super sap, so her card blew me away, she made me get teary-eyed.

Thank You Mia #ChaseYourDreams2015 Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress

The cards are for me to send out love/encouragement to people. Thank you very much! Who wants a card?

I want to create more this year, and Mia hooked me up! She sent me two notebooks, Mod Podge Rocks (yes, it does), a fabulous Sharpie pen (this girl loves Sharpies), and some sparkly gold letters, I cannot wait to get all crafty.

Okay, another goal I have this year is to be more present.  I mean… can’t we all be a little more present?  For this goal Mia sent me Die Empty, which is about embracing the present and letting the good stuff pour out rather than being buried with it. I think this book is going to push me in the right direction, pushing fear to the left, to the left. I CANNOT wait to dive into this book, bonus there’s a workbook!

Thank you, Mia, for such a sweet heartfelt box!  You are stuck with me too. p.s. BOO Washington! Yay Cowboys!

EXTRA: Behind-the-scenes

Behind the scene My furbaby and I

This guy was right by my side while I took pictures of all my goodies 😉  that’s what she said and now he’s snoring next to me while I type this up.  Love him, snores and all!

Well, loves, it is FRIDAY and I am plenty thankful for that!!

Your little boy vacuumed his room? That’s so amazing! I can never get over how sweet and adorable your family is. Friday lunch dates sound awesome!

    • MrsA0K2001 says:

Yes, these kids love to vacuum… now. 🙂 I just had no idea the boy could bring down the vacuum cleaner all the way down the stairs. I was a bit scared once I saw with the vacuum, but proud.
Thank you, Bev! I love our little family.

What a strong guy! That’s tough!! The compliments of your kiddos is a reflection of your great parenting with your husband and the love your kids have for you! That was a sweet swap! She really knows you! I just got that book for my birthday from Sophie! 😉 We should prob swap addresses for our cards! Have a great weekend xo

    • MrsA0K2001 says:

Awww Shelly, thanks, that was so sweet of you to say (type).
Yes, my little guy is a little macho man, he enjoys working out with my husband and I. 🙂
Isn’t crazy how Mia stuck “ME” in a box, I do not even have a good About Page. 😀
      Let’s do it, let’s be some card-swapping-fools!!!
      XOXO

  6. Look a your little man, or big man getting things done all by himself! Love the sweatband too, has his own little style. You must have felt so awesome for your daughter and her doing well in school. Cheers to that! I know you’re beyond a proud mama. Those goodiea you got look like so much fun. I can’t wait to see what you create with them. And yes, being more present is something I’ve struggled with as well, it’s not as easy as people think with so many distractions we have these days!

    • MrsA0K2001 says:

Can I keep him little? I want to keep him little. They all keep growing too fast. 🙁
Yes, I am immensely proud of my daughter she is doing beyond wonderful, if that is possible, she is doing it.
I cannot wait to create, creating things fills me up.
I couldn’t agree more there are a thousand things going on in our lives and around us to distract us from the present, I want to be more centered. HAHA wish me luck with that.
      XOXO

  10. Akaleistar says:

How sweet that he brought down the vacuum, and your swap package looks like it was filled with sunshine!

    • MrsA0K2001 says:

After I got over my worry of him coming down the stairs lugging the vacuum cleaner bigger than him, I thought it was the sweetest thing, I was proud of him.
The package is amazeballs! I was/am blown away with Mia’s thoughtfulness.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend, beautiful!
      XOXO

  11. The photo of your son with the vacuum is adorable.

What a sweet gift for making cards. How fun!

I’m in love with my gifts and the boy! I cannot wait to share some cards.

  12. Oh my goodness, that picture of your little man with the vacuum. Mom swoon! And your puppy “helping” you unbox everything, haha, what a sweetie!

Can I just say that I am *SO* glad that you signed up for the swap! I cannot wait to cheer you on and be that annoyingly persistent cheerleader in your corner. 🙂 And can you please keep the goodie flashing to a minimum? Ahem. Hahaha, I kid, I kid. 🙂

Hope you have the bestest weekend ever and maybe get some time to relax or create something. xo

    • MrsA0K2001 says:

Thank you, he is quite swoonable, I probably swoon over him too much. Mama’s Boy.
Okay, I have two Mama’s boys m’boy and my fur baby.

I am glad I joined in too, this was such a fun swap. I am pleased to have you in my corner!! 🙂 I hope you know that means I will be in yours telling you to get up and fight, because you’ve got this!! Okay, it also means I may send you cards, links and Pinterest pins, because they made me think of you. 🙂 It’s a thing I do…. I hope you don’t mind.
HAHA!…. NO… I’m proud of my goodies, my goodies! 😀

      I had a pretty good weekend, thank you. I would not say ‘the’ best ever, but good nonetheless. I worked on the creation of these pythons! 😀 ((I said that like a juice-head) {My apologies to juice heads who frequent my blog}
When are you coming over to CrossFit?
      Happy February!
      XOXO

  13. Bismah says:

    • MrsA0K2001 says:

Yes, this was such an awesome gift box, and you’re right it is always a bonus when you can create with your gifts. Thanks for stopping in.

  14. karen says:

OMG…that pic of your little guy with the vacuum…too awesome…good for him and bravo to your kids for being awesome!

    • MrsA0K2001 says:

Thank you, Karen. These kids fill my bucket. 🙂
I need to take advantage of is eagerness to vacuum more. 😀
      XOXO

  15. Tamara says:

Wow, big guy carrying the vacuum! I hate doing that!!
And I’m loving the black and white photos. They’re really gorgeous.
Now I need to Google about Zoe’s Kitchen. I adore lunch dates with my kids (or just my husband) very much. In fact, there was no school today, which means that daycare will maybe let me drop Des off on Thursday. And no kids on a Thursday is good because that’s the only day my favorite hummus company does a pop-up restaurant. Yum!

    • MrsA0K2001 says:

Yum! I love hummus, but my almost 13 year-old is a hummus fanatic, she would love this pop-up restaurant you speak of. Zoe’s serves up fresh mediterranean food; my babies love it, especially the orzo chicken soup.
I miss my lunch dates with my babe, one of the things you don’t get when you’re homeschooling.
Thanks for the sweet compliment on my photos 🙂 that always means so much coming from you!
      XOXO
