Thank you, fall! I know I’ve already talked about fall, like, a billion times but I cannot tell you how happy I am to have real fall back in my life again. This weekend, while I was out, I took this picture:

Fall in the streets

I know it’s not the most beautiful picture, it doesn’t even capture the beauty that I was surrounded by, but it was just a moment I had. A moment where I was sitting in the car waiting for my husband to run in to the fancy pet store to get dog food, and I looked around and was just thankful. I loved that my family and I walked around the town’s little Maine St. and enjoyed the crisp weather with the sound of leaves steadily hitting the ground. The colors were gorgeous, the smells were amazing, probably because we were near a bake shop. 🙂                                                      Did you think we just passed said shop without engaging in some indulgence….

Thank you, multiple kids + moves across country, for our traditional library card day pictures.

Thank you, Jimmy Fallon, for being a sweetheart! It was nice to see you giving advice to your teenage shadow for a day on Periscope.

Thank you, Oh My Heartsie Girls, for featuring my Dollar Tree Pumpkin Redo!! I’m so very grateful for the LOVE!

Thank you, Bev, for creating The Busy Mom’s Guide to Creativity!! Seriously, this book is a must-have for moms who feel they are losing their creative spunk.  This book would also make a great gift for new moms.  I can totally attest to the power of creativity, so much so that I’m in the book! 😀 That’s not why I love the book though, I love it because 1)  Bev put her heart in it. 2) She wrote this book with busy moms in mind. 3) the workbook is AWESOME! 4) After reading it I felt inspired to create. 5) Moms need things for themselves, self care is something moms seem to push off for others, creating is a form of self care. 6) The tips that Bev provides. 7) What Bahar Rinsler said! You have to read the book to get that one. 🙂  8) The quotes throughout the book are inspiring. 9) Bev practices what she preaches in this book, have you seen her shop? 10) I love Bev, she has found a way to empower women. We don’t have to have mom guilt to do the things we love.

Bev, I’m so incredibly proud of you!! You had a dream and went after it. You are sharing some of that bliss you have in your life with other mothers and that’s… beautiful. Thank you!

    1. Thanks for joining, Michelle! If I could reach through the screen and grab the desserts I would, but that would be bad, because Pinterest 😀
      XOXO

    1. Sometimes it’s the little things, right? All of a sudden life hits in you in waves and it’s beautiful. When you realize you don’t need all those crazy life of the rich and famous dreams, although that would be nice, the little things are just as good and FAMILY, always family. 🙂

  1. Oh thank you for all of the lovely words!! I loved what Bahar said, it all makes so much sense!
I would be so sad without fall. It is by far my favorite season. I’m glad you get to enjoy it again 🙂

    1. I’m a happy mail fanatic, I love to send friends and family little notes, cards, and surprises just because. Since moving I haven’t “made” my own cards… I’ve been buying them. I cannot wait to get my hands back on all my crafting supplies. 🙂

  3. It looks like you are adjusting well to life in the Emerald City. I bet it is nice to enjoy fall once again. Those desserts look fantastic, I want to eat pumpkin as long as my family tolerates it. Today I bought, pumpkin yogurt, cookies, cereal, & waffles! Yep, a little bit crazy about pumpkin! Congrats to your friends on their books. So exciting!

    1. Yes, I’m enjoying this PNW fall- it’s beautiful!! I want all the pumpkin too, I need to make a trip to Trader Joe’s. And thank you, I’m so happy and proud for both of them. 😉

  4. So, so much goodness here. I love Bev’s book and Nina’s book! I love all those pumpkin treats, and that you stopped to indulge with your family.
